List of number-one singles of the 2010s (Romania)

This is a list of the Romanian Singles Chart (Top 100) number-ones in the decade of the 2010s. The Romanian Top 100 was the national airplay-based singles chart of Romania. It was weekly, it started running in 1996 and ceased to exist in February 2012. It was recognized as an official chart by the European division of ''Billboard'', Music & Media.
The first number-one song of this decade was "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas. There is a total of 32 number-ones in the 2010s, to date. The most successful songs of the decade are "Mr. Saxobeat" by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan and "On the Floor" by Porto Rico/American recording artist Jennifer Lopez featuring Cuban/American rapper Pitbull. Both spent eight consecutive weeks at number-one and have been serviced by all radio stations for over 10,000 times as of December 2011. The record was equaled again in the first issue of 2012, when Swedish singer Lykke Li spent an eight week at number-one with her breakthrough single "I Follow Rivers". The most played song in a singular week record (previously held by Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie") was firstly broken by Romanian recording artist Elena Gheorghe with the song "Disco Romancing" in 2010 but broken again by Swedish Lykke Li with her song "I Follow Rivers" in 2011. Both weeks are in bold.
==Chart history==
2010
The first number-one of the decade was The Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling", adding two other weeks to its total run of eight weeks in the top. (most of them garnered in 2009). In mid-February, "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga landed atop the chart, becoming her second song to do this, after "Poker Face". This song is the one with the most weeks at number-one in 2010. The best Romanian hit of this year was "In Love" by Deepcentral, topping the chart for six non-consecutive weeks. Rihanna's "Rude Boy" topped the chart for a complete month (4 weeks) in June. Another Lady Gaga song, "Alejandro" become the hit of that summer, spending five weeks on the top spot. "Disco Romancing" became Elena Gheorghe's second coonsecutive number-one in her country. Rihanna scored another number-one in 2010 with "Love The Way You Lie", a featuring with Eminem. The song "Love is for Free" is the second one in 2010 to bring Smiley a number-one. The last song to hit the top spot in 2010 in Romania is "Mr. Saxobeat" by Alexandra Stan.
2011
The first number-one single in Romania in 2011 was "Mr. Saxobeat" by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan. The song expanded its reign at number-one with five weeks towards eight weeks. It was then followed by "Something New" by Andra. This serves as the singer's first number one, a huge achievement to her career as she is another native act, who scored her first top ten back in 2001 and she is currently having eight top tens. After only one week, the song lost positions to Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)". The Barbadian scored her first dance-number in Romania with "Only Girl", which also stands as her only number-one in 2011. The song spent two weeks atop the charts and then given the spot to "A Night like This". The jazz-pop song became the first non—dance number-one in 2011 and the performer — Caro Emerald is also the first Dutch to ever have a number-one in Romania. "Ne place" by debuting group ROA spent another two weeks at number-one, before letting Colombian diva Shakira have her record-breaking eighth number-one in Romania with her "Loca" featuring British rapper Dizzee Rascal and Dominican merenguean El Cata. This was the first urban number-one song in 2011 and it was followed by another urban act — rapper Puya and singer Connect-R's single "Americandrim" was a one-week number one on the chart. The next song to top the tally was "On the Floor" by Porto Rican/American singer-songwriter and actress Jennifer Lopez featuring Latino rapper Pitbull. The song spent eight weeks atop the tally and it was considered a comeback for Lopez. The song was succeeded by Romanian trio Play & Win and their six-weeks #1 "Ya BB". During the summer "Mi-e dor de noi", "Down on Me" and "Danza Kuduro" by DJ Project ft Giulia, Jeremih ft. 50 Cent and Don Omar ft. Lucenzo respectively have all topped the chart for one week each. Rapper Guess Who featuring singer-songwriter deMoga's "Tot mai sus" was at number-one for six weeks and it was the Song of the Year at the Year-End Chart. Singer Smiley scored the third number-one from the same album with his song "Dream Girl" off album ''Plec pe Marte''. "Welcome to St. Tropez" by DJ Antoine ft. Timati & Kalenna Harper and "Rain Over Me" by Pitbull ft. Marc Anthony have both spent two weeks at number-one on the chart during fall 2011. The last number-one song of the year was "I Follow Rivers" by Swedish singer Lykke Li which lasted for seven weeks atop the charts and settled another record of number of plays in a singular week. The song didn't let neither Adele's "Someone Like You" nor Rihanna's "We Found Love" to get to number-one in 2011.
2012
At the beginning of 2012, "I Follow Rivers" by Swedish singer Lykke Li continued its reign for another run of seven weeks, bringing it to a total number of 14 weeks at number-one, the most in the chart's history. It was followed by the Brazilian One-hit wonder Michel Teló with "Ai se eu te pego! which held the top spot until the last official edition published by Kiss FM.
